SBI PO 2026: Notification, Exam Dates, Syllabus, Mock Tests and Memory-Based Papers
SBI recruits Probationary Officers (Junior Management Grade Scale I) through a three-phase process: an online Prelims (qualifying), an online Main exam with a descriptive test, and Phase III with a psychometric test, group exercise and interview. The 2026 cycle (advertisement CRPD/PO/2026-27/09) has 1,500 vacancies.
Final merit combines the Main exam (converted to 75) and Phase III (converted to 25). Graduates aged 21 to 30 as on 01.04.2026 were eligible, with relaxation for reserved categories.

- Each section is separately timed; you cannot move to the next section before its 20 minutes end.
- No sectional cut-off in SBI PO Prelims: the category-wise merit list is drawn on the aggregate, and about 10 times the vacancies go to Mains.
- Prelims marks are not added to the final merit. Many sites still show the old 30/35/35 split; the 2026 advertisement uses 40/30/30.
