SSC CHSL Marks Calculator 2026 (Tier 1 Answer Key Score)
Save your SSC CHSL response sheet as a web page and choose it here, or paste its page source. You get attempted, correct and wrong answers and marks for each part, and your total against last year's cut-off.
Status on 23 October 2026: SSC has scheduled the CHSL 2026 Tier 1 exam from 30 November to 31 December 2026, and the answer key will come after the last shift. The calculator is ready for the day response sheets open; it also reads CHSL 2025 sheets.
Or paste the page source instead (computer)
Open your response sheet, press Ctrl+U (Cmd+Option+U on a Mac), select all with Ctrl+A, copy, and paste it here. A link will not work: SSC's response-sheet pages cannot be read by another website from your browser.
Pre-filled with the official scheme: +2 for a correct answer, −0.50 for a wrong answer. Change it only if SSC/RRB changes the marking.
Privacy: your file never leaves your device. It is read by your own browser; nothing is uploaded or stored, and your name and roll number are not read.

| Section | Attempted | Correct | Wrong | Not attempted | Marks |
|---|
This is your raw score from the tentative key printed on your sheet. Final marks can change after SSC/RRB revises the key, and multi-shift exams are normalised.

How to download and save your response sheet
- 1
Log in on ssc.gov.in
Open ssc.gov.in, click Login and sign in with your Registration Number and Password. Response sheets open only during the answer-key window SSC announces for your exam.
- 2
Open Answer Key Challenge
In your candidate dashboard click "Answer Key Challenge", then the "Click Here" button for your exam. SSC sends you to the exam agency's portal, where your response sheet opens.
- 3
Check the colours
SSC marks the sheet in colour: green = you picked the right answer, red = you picked a wrong answer, yellow = the correct answer, grey = not attempted. These colours are what this calculator reads.
- 4
Save the page as a file
Computer: press Ctrl+S (Cmd+S on a Mac) and save as "Webpage, Complete" or "Webpage, HTML only". Android Chrome: tap ⋮ and then the download icon (saves an .mhtml file). If your sheet opens in parts (PART-A, PART-B…), save each part.
- 5
Choose the file here
Pick the saved .html or .mhtml file above (select all parts together). Your marks appear at once, section by section. SSC says the saved paper is for personal use and self-analysis only, so do not share it.

PDF files are not supported yet: in a PDF of the sheet the answer marks are colours and pictures, not text. Reading your sheet straight from its link is coming soon; for now save the page as a file.

FAQs
How are SSC CHSL 2026 Tier 1 marks calculated?
Each correct answer gets 2 marks and each wrong answer loses 0.50 marks; an unattempted question gets 0. Tier 1 has 4 parts of 25 questions each (English, General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness), so the maximum is 200 (CHSL 2026 notice, Para 13.8).
When is the SSC CHSL 2026 Tier 1 exam?
SSC's exam schedule of 1 October 2026 fixes the CHSL 2026 Tier 1 computer based exam from 30 November to 31 December 2026. SSC uploads the tentative answer key with response sheets after all shifts are over.
When will the SSC CHSL 2026 answer key come out?
SSC has not announced a date yet. It releases the tentative key and response sheets after the last shift of Tier 1, with a short window to challenge answers at ₹50 per question (the fee printed in the CHSL 2026 notice). Watch the Answer Key section of ssc.gov.in.
What was the SSC CHSL Tier 1 cut-off last year?
For LDC/JSA, SSC's CHSL 2025 Tier 1 cut-offs were UR 144.26, OBC 143.83, EWS 141.42, SC 125.40 and ST 115.25 out of 200 (normalised marks, result write-up of 27.02.2026). DEO cut-offs were higher.
Can I compare my raw score with the cut-off?
Only roughly. The cut-off is on normalised marks, and SSC normalises CHSL Tier 1 scores across shifts, so your normalised score can be higher or lower than the raw score shown here.
How do I use the SSC CHSL answer key 2026 marks calculator?
When SSC opens the answer key, log in on ssc.gov.in, open your response sheet, save the page (Ctrl+S, Webpage) or copy its source (Ctrl+U), and choose the file or paste the source here. The calculator reads your chosen option and the key for all 100 questions and shows marks, attempts and accuracy for each of the four parts.
Does it work with my CHSL 2025 response sheet?
Yes, if you saved the sheet as a web page. CHSL 2025 Tier 1 had the same 100 questions, 200 marks and 0.50 negative marking.
Is my response sheet uploaded anywhere?
No. The file is opened and read by your own browser with JavaScript. Nothing is sent to BookOfExams or anyone else, nothing is stored, and the calculator does not read your name, roll number or photo.
Why can't I paste my response-sheet link?
The commission's pages cannot be read from another website in your browser, and sending your link to a server would expose your sheet. Save the page and choose the file, or on a computer press Ctrl+U on the sheet, copy the page source and paste it into the box above. Either way everything stays on your device.
Can I upload the PDF of my response sheet?
Not yet. In a PDF the green, red and yellow marks are colours or small pictures, not text, so they cannot be read reliably. Save the sheet as a web page (.html or .mhtml) instead.
Is this my final score?
It is your raw score on the tentative answer key printed on your sheet. The final key can change answers or drop questions, and exams held in several shifts are normalised, so your final marks can differ.
The number of questions looks wrong. What should I do?
Check that you saved the page with all your questions, not the login or instructions page. If the sheet opened in parts, save every part and choose all the files together.
