Educational Qualification
- See the discipline-wise table above. The degree or diploma must be from a recognised university or institute.
- You should not have completed more than three years after passing the qualifying exam as on 1 October 2026. In practice, only those who passed in 2026, 2025, 2024 or on or after 1 July 2023 can apply.
- Candidates awaiting results, or with supplementary / back papers, need not apply.
- Anyone who has already done apprenticeship at IRCON or any other organisation, or who has one year or more of training or job experience after education, is not eligible.
Age Limit (as on 1 October 2026)
- Minimum 18 years, maximum 30 years.
- Relaxation: 5 years for SC / ST and 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), where a seat is reserved for that category.
