Candidates who clear the Prelims fill a separate Main exam form. The Main exam fee is ₹225 (UR, EWS, OBC and other-state candidates), ₹105 (SC/ST of U.P. and ex-Army personnel of U.P.) and ₹25 (PH of U.P.).
UPPSC RO ARO Selection Process 2026
- Preliminary Examination (objective, screening): 15 times the number of vacancies are declared successful for the Main exam.
- Main (Written) Examination: the final selection is made on the total marks in the Main exam.
Minimum efficiency standard: SC/ST candidates need at least 35% and other candidates at least 40% in the Preliminary and Main exams to be placed in the merit list. Selected candidates must also pass a medical examination.
