The Technician group covers Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil, Electrical & Electronics and Electronics (codes 101 to 106). The Trade group covers ITI Fitter, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Instrument Mechanic and Machinist (codes 107 to 111). Graduate Apprentice is code 112, and Data Entry Operator is codes 113 and 114.

Other Conditions
- The qualification must be a full-time regular course. Part-time, correspondence or distance mode makes you not eligible.
- Graduate and Technician applicants must have passed between 1 April 2023 and 30 September 2026.
- Trade (ITI) and Data Entry Operator applicants must have passed between 1 April 2022 and 30 September 2026.
- Candidates with higher qualifications such as B.E. / B.Tech, MBA, MCA, CA, ICWA or LLB, or pursuing them, are not eligible.
- You can do a maximum of two apprenticeships, and the second cannot be in the same trade. A gap of one year is needed between two trainings.

IOCL Apprentice Stipend
The stipend is paid every month as prescribed under the Apprentices Act, 1961 and the Apprentices Rules, as amended from time to time. The notification does not give a fixed amount. After the 12 months, IOCL has no obligation to offer you a job.
