Naval Aircraft Yard (Goa) - 30 vacancies
The Goa yard gives a maximum number of seats per trade, and the total is 30. Electrician, Electrician Aircraft, Electronics Mechanic, Machinist, Mechanic Instrument Aircraft and Mechanic Radar and Radio Aircraft have up to 5 seats each. Shipwright Wood, Computer Operator and Programming Assistant, ICT System Maintenance, Instrument Mechanic, Painter (General), Sheet Metal Worker and Welder have up to 2 seats each.
If fewer candidates qualify in a trade than the seats advertised, those seats are moved to other trades on overall merit. The total in any trade cannot go more than 25% above the number published for Karwar.

Naval Dockyard Karwar Apprentice Selection Process 2026
- Preliminary merit list by trade and category. For ITI trades it is made on the aggregate percentage of marks in ITI and 10th. For non-ITI trades it uses the 8th marks (Rigger) or 10th marks (Crane Operator, Forger and Heat Treater). Ties go to the older candidate, then alphabetical order.
- Written examination at Karwar in January 2027. Candidates are called in the ratio of 1:20 for each vacancy in a trade and category. The e-admit card comes by email only.
