NLC Apprentice Eligibility 2026

NLC Apprentice Selection Process 2026

- Trade Apprentices: merit on the percentage of marks in the ITI examination.

If your university gives grades or CGPA and has no conversion rule of its own, NLC will multiply the CGPA by 10. For semester-wise or year-wise marks, it takes the average across all semesters or years. You must upload a certificate from your university giving the equivalent percentage for your CGPA/OGPA. If two candidates have the same percentage at the cut-off, the older candidate (by date of birth) gets preference.
Reservation documents
- SC, ST, OBC and EWS candidates must upload a community certificate in the prescribed Government format.
- The OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) certificate must be valid from 01.04.2026.
- If you do not upload the certificate, you will be treated as General category.
