SSC CPO Exam Date 2026: Quick Answer
The SSC CPO 2026 (Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and CAPFs) computer based exam is scheduled for 23 to 28 November 2026. SSC moved the dates by one notice: its corrigendum of 26 October 2026 replaced the earlier proposed window of 20 to 28 November. The notice of examination says dates are tentative and any change is announced only on the SSC website.
Key takeaway: If a coaching page or video still says 20 November, it is out of date. The official date range today is 23 to 28 November 2026. Dates for PET/PST, Paper-II and the result are not announced yet, and this page will not guess them.

SSC CPO Date Change History
| Notice | What it said | Date |
|---|---|---|
| Important notice of SSC | Proposed CBE from 20 to 28 November 2026 | 01.10.2026 |
| Corrigendum to the Important Notice | CBE revised to 23rd to 28th November 2026 | 26.10.2026 |
The same corrigendum also revised the JE 2026 Paper-I schedule. You can read that in our SSC JE exam date 2026 note.
Why the Exam Is Spread Over Six Days
SSC runs the CBE in multiple shifts, and the notice says scores from multiple shifts are normalised using the procedure published on 02.06.2025 (Para 12.3). That is why your own date and shift will be printed on your admission certificate, and why you should not compare raw scores with friends in other shifts.
When Will the SSC CPO Admit Card 2026 Come Out?
SSC says exam city and time table details are uploaded on the regional website about 10 days before the exam, and the admission certificate can be downloaded 2 to 3 days before. For a 23 November start, that points to the second week of November for city details, but SSC has not published exact dates for either. Read the full steps in our SSC CPO admit card 2026 guide.
