Can I download the SSC MTS previous year question paper with answers as a PDF?
Yes. Open any paper's "With answers" page from the table above: it shows every question with the correct option and a worked solution, and the Save as PDF button prints it to a PDF on your phone or computer. To practise first, use "Attempt online" for the same paper in a timed test.
Where do these SSC MTS papers come from?
Each official paper is one shift's candidate response sheet released by the Staff Selection Commission with its answer key (SSC final answer key notice (26.03.2025)). The "Source" column links the Staff Selection Commission's own notice for that exam cycle.
Are these SSC MTS papers the real questions asked in the exam?
Yes. Papers marked "Official Paper" are the actual questions from the candidate response sheet released by SSC, checked against SSC's final answer key. Where SSC's key has a known error, the explanation says so.

How should I use SSC MTS previous year papers?
Attempt one full shift under exam conditions, then go through every solution, including the ones you got right. Note the topics you lost marks on and revise them from the linked notes before the next shift. One shift every two or three days works better than many in one sitting.
What is the SSC MTS exam pattern?
The computer-based exam has two 45-minute sessions. Session I: Numerical and Mathematical Ability 20 and Reasoning 20 questions, with no negative marking. Session II: General Awareness 25 and English 25 questions, with 1 mark deducted per wrong answer. Each question carries 3 marks (270 in all).
