The SSC CPO 2025 Paper-I cut-off for unreserved (UR) male candidates was 119.47517 out of 200, and for UR female candidates 128.01610 out of 200, in normalised marks (SSC result write-up dated 30.03.2026). In SSC CPO 2024 the same cut-offs were 119.80335 (male) and 135.27003 (female), so the male UR cut-off has stayed at almost 60% for two years in a row.

What the Previous Year Cut-Offs Tell You
- The male UR cut-off is stable at about 60%. It was 59.90% in 2024 and 59.74% in 2025, even though far fewer male candidates were shortlisted in 2025 (44,067 against 76,278).
- Female cut-offs are higher than male cut-offs in both years, by about 8 marks (2025) and 15 marks (2024) out of 200 for UR, because female vacancies are fewer.
- ESM candidates qualify at the minimum. SSC fixed the minimum qualifying marks at UR 30%, OBC/EWS 25% and all others 20% (Para 16.2), and in 2025 every ESM candidate with 20% (40 marks) qualified for PET/PST.
- Paper-I only shortlists you. Under the 2026 notice, final merit is decided by Paper-II marks (plus NCC bonus), so Paper-I is a gate, not your rank.
SSC CPO 2026 Cut Off: How to Read It on the New Pattern
The 2026 notice changes Paper-I completely, so the old raw numbers cannot be carried over.

Worked example (not an official cut-off): if the 2026 UR male cut-off lands at the same percentage as 2025 (59.74%), it would be about 59.7 out of 100. Treat this only as a way to read the old data. A shorter paper with a sectional timer may push percentages up or down, and SSC will publish the real 2026 figures in its Paper-I result write-up.
Safe target for 2026: aim for at least 65 out of 100 if you are a UR male candidate and 70 out of 100 if you are a UR female candidate. That is our margin of about 5 percentage points above the highest UR percentage of the last two years, not an SSC figure.

Is the SSC CPO cut-off different for Delhi Police and CAPF?
Paper-I shortlisting is done in three lists: female, male, and male departmental candidates of Delhi Police. There is no separate Paper-I cut-off for CAPF; post and force are allotted later on Paper-II merit and your preferences.
Are SSC CPO 2025 cut-offs valid for 2026?
Not directly. The 2026 Paper-I has 100 questions for 100 marks, while the 2025 paper had 200 marks. Convert old cut-offs to percentages, as in the tables above.
Does NCC bonus count in the SSC CPO cut-off?
Minimum qualifying marks are fixed without NCC bonus, but shortlisting for PET/PST is done on Paper-I marks including NCC bonus (Para 16.2 and 16.3 of the 2026 notice). NCC 'C' holders get 5%, 'B' 3% and 'A' 2% of the maximum marks.
