CRPF Sports Quota Recruitment 2026: The Central Reserve Police Force has invited online applications from meritorious sportspersons for 521 posts of Head Constable (General Duty) and Constable (General Duty) under Advertisement No. R.II-21/2026-Sports dated 17 September 2026. Sports Qualification
Head Constable (GD) - any one of these:
- Represented India in a recognised international competition with clearance from the Department of Sports, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
- Represented a State/UT in National Games or a National Championship of a recognised federation and won a medal or position up to 3rd place.
- Won 1st or 2nd place in an individual event at Inter-University tournaments (AIU/Inter-University Sports Board), or reached the final in a team event.
- Won gold or silver in a Junior National Games/Championship of a recognised National Sports Federation.
Constable (GD) - any one of these:
- Represented a State in Senior or Junior National Games/Championships of a recognised National Sports Federation.
- Represented State Schools at the National School Games (SGFI) and won a medal or position up to 3rd place.
- Represented a State/UT at Khelo India University Games, Khelo India Youth Games or Khelo India Winter Games and won a medal or position up to 3rd place.
- Represented your University in Inter-University tournaments.
Only achievements from the two years before the advertisement (30.09.2024 to 30.09.2026) count.
Age Limit
The age limit is 18 to 23 years as on 01.08.2026. Para 4 of the notice says you should be born not earlier than 02.08.2003 and not later than 01.08.2008. Para 5 of the original notice printed 02.01.2003 to 01.01.2008; news reports say CRPF issued a revised age notice on 13 October 2026 that fixes the August dates. The notice lists further relaxations (North-East ST 157 cm, LWE-district ST 160 cm, GTA Darjeeling 157 cm for men). Weight must be in proportion to height and age.
Medical Standards
- Distance vision of at least 6/6 and 6/9 in both eyes, without glasses or lenses.
- Colour-blind candidates are not eligible.
- No knock knee, flat foot, varicose veins or squint.
- Tattoos are allowed only on the inner left forearm or the back of the hands, smaller than one quarter of that part of the body.

CRPF Sports Quota Salary 2026

Service bond: selected candidates must sign a bond of ₹1,00,000 to serve the Force for at least 3 years. CRPF will monitor your sports performance for 2 years, and your service can be terminated if your standard falls.

You can apply for only one post. Multiple applications will all be rejected. Candidates already in government service need a No Objection Certificate from their employer.
