IBPS RRB PO Admit Card 2026: Quick Answer
The IBPS RRB PO (Officer Scale I) Prelims 2026 is scheduled for 21 and 22 November 2026, as per the IBPS tentative calendar dated 16.01.2026. IBPS has not yet announced the date on which the prelims call letter (admit card) will be released; when it is out, you download it only from ibps.in using your Registration Number and Password or Date of Birth.
As of 31 Oct 2026: The CRP RRBs-XV notification lists "Download of call letters for online examination – Preliminary (Officers/OA)" as November / December 2026, with no exact day. We will update this page with the direct link and the release date as soon as IBPS posts them. Any site that prints a fixed release date today is guessing. IBPS also says it can change exam dates for administrative reasons, so the date, shift and venue printed on your own call letter are final. The Office Assistant (Clerk) prelims are on separate days: 6, 12 and 13 December 2026, with the Office Assistant mains on 30 January 2027 (IBPS calendar).
How to Download the IBPS RRB PO Call Letter 2026 (Steps)
These steps follow the call-letter rules in Section Q of the notification. Use them once IBPS activates the link.
- Open the official website www.ibps.in. Do not use links forwarded on WhatsApp or Telegram; the notification lists creating fake websites and issuing fake admit cards among punishable offences.
- Go to the CRP RRBs-XV section and click the link for the Officers Scale I Preliminary Examination call letter.
- Enter your Registration Number and your Password or Date of Birth, then type the captcha.
- Your call letter opens with your exam date, shift, reporting time and venue. Download it as a PDF.
- Download the Information Handout from the same page. IBPS says the detailed exam instructions are in this handout, which is made available along with the call letter.
- Take a clear printout, paste the same photograph you uploaded in your application, and keep one extra copy of that photo.
Important: IBPS states that no hard copy of the call letter or Information Handout will be sent by post or courier. If you do not download it, you will not get it any other way.
Login Details You Need for the RRB PO Admit Card
| Detail | Where you find it |
|---|---|
| Registration Number | Email and SMS sent by IBPS when you registered in September 2026; also on your application printout |
| Password | Same email and SMS; you noted it while registering |
| Date of Birth | As filled in your application (it must match your Class 10 certificate) |
If you lost the email, check the spam folder of the email ID used in your application. The notification asks candidates to keep the registered email and mobile number active till the process ends, because IBPS sends intimations to them and does not take responsibility for non-receipt.
What to Check on Your IBPS RRB PO Call Letter
Read every line the day you download it, not on the morning of the exam.
| Field | What to verify |
|---|---|
| Name | Spelling must match your photo ID exactly. A mismatch can stop you at the gate. |
| Roll number and registration number | Must match your application records |
| Post | "Officers Scale I" (not Office Assistant) |
| Exam date and shift | One of 21 or 22 November 2026, unless IBPS revises it |
| Reporting time and gate closing time | Plan your travel around these, as printed |
| Venue address | Map it a day early. IBPS can allot a centre outside your State/UT. |
| Photo and signature | Must be your own uploaded images |
If you see an error, contact IBPS through its grievance portal cgrs.ibps.in, which the notification names for queries and complaints. Do not edit the PDF yourself.
Can You Change the IBPS RRB PO Exam Centre or Date?
No. Section H of the notification says no request for change of examination centre will be entertained, and IBPS reserves the right to allot a centre other than the one you chose, even outside the State/UT you applied for. So check the venue early and arrange travel and a stay if needed. Our IBPS RRB PO exam day guidelines 2026 cover the documents, valid photo IDs, banned items and biometric rules for the day itself; we have not repeated them here.
Why the Prelims Call Letter Matters Again at the Mains
The prelims call letter is not collected at the centre. Staff stamp it, along with the photocopy of your photo ID, and give it back. If you qualify, you must bring this stamped prelims call letter and stamped ID copy to the Mains; IBPS says candidates without them will not be allowed to appear. Store it in a folder the moment you return home.

With about three weeks left, use the waiting time well:

- Practise the separate 25-minute and 20-minute section clocks; you cannot move spare time between sections.
- Follow the day-wise schedule in our IBPS RRB PO preparation plan 2026.
- Check ibps.in and your registered email once a day for the call-letter notice.
