IBPS Clerk Cut Off 2026: Quick Answer

IBPS has not released any IBPS Clerk (CRP CSA-XVI) cut-off for 2026; the Prelims was held on 10 and 11 October 2026 and IBPS lists the Prelims result for November 2026 (tentative). Based on IBPS's own final allotment figures from the last two published cycles, a UR candidate in most large states should expect a final cut-off of roughly 37 to 48 out of 100 in Mains, which is our expected range, not an official number.

Read this first (as of 28 Oct 2026): Every figure marked "Expected" is BookOfExams analysis built from official IBPS allotment notices. It is not an IBPS number. IBPS fixes cut-offs state-wise and category-wise depending on vacancies and performance. We will update this same page when IBPS publishes the CSA-XVI cut-offs.

IBPS says candidates must clear the cut-off in each test of the Prelims, and in Mains must get a minimum score in each test and a minimum total. Allotment is done State/UT-wise on Mains scores, which is why the IBPS Clerk cut-off is always state-wise. For dates and the full schedule, see our IBPS Clerk 2026 hub.

How the IBPS Clerk Cut-Off Works

IBPS Clerk Expected Cut Off 2026 (Our Analysis)

Method. For each state, we take the UR minimum allotment score from the two official cycles above (Clerks-XIII and CSA-XV) and use the lower and higher of the two as the expected band. We then read it against two factors: (1) vacancies, since 2026 has 11,663 indicative posts and a larger state vacancy count usually pushes the cut-off towards the lower end, and (2) difficulty, as the 2026 Mains is shorter (160 questions in 125 minutes), which can change scores. A third published cycle would sharpen this band; we will add it when we have verified it from the IBPS PDF.

These bands are planning targets, not predictions. Note that IBPS has not said whether the revised 2026 Mains will still be reported on the same out-of-100 scale; we will confirm this when the result comes out.

What to Do Now (Prelims Done, Mains on 27 December)

  1. Do not wait for the Prelims result. Mains is about eight weeks away. Re-read the revised pattern in IBPS Clerk syllabus and exam pattern.
  2. Protect every section. The minimum in each test can stop you even with a good total. Practise with IBPS Clerk free mock tests, including the IBPS Clerk Mains General Awareness Mock Test 01.
  3. Build GA daily. General/Financial Awareness carries heavy marks in a short time. Use banking awareness for bank exams.
  4. Know the reward. See IBPS Clerk salary 2026 and check IBPS Clerk eligibility and age limit 2026.

IBPS Clerk Expected Cut Off 2026 FAQs

What is the expected IBPS Clerk cut off 2026 for UR?

IBPS has not released it. Based on the official CSA-XV and Clerks-XIII allotment scores, our expected UR final cut-off is roughly 37 to 48 out of 100 depending on the state (for example 37 to 43 in Uttar Pradesh). This is an estimate, not an official figure.

When will the IBPS Clerk Prelims cut off 2026 come?

With the Prelims result, which IBPS lists for November 2026 (tentative). IBPS shows Prelims cut-offs in the candidate's score display after login.

IBPS Clerk 2026 mein safe score kitna hai?

Official cut-off abhi nahi aaya. Pichhle do cycles ke IBPS data ke hisaab se zyada tar bade states mein UR ke liye Mains mein 100 mein se lagbhag 45 se upar score aapko comfortable range mein rakhta hai, lekin yeh sirf hamara estimate hai.

Is the IBPS Clerk cut-off different for each state?

Yes. Allotment is State/UT-wise, so IBPS publishes separate cut-offs for every state and category. In CSA-XV, the UR minimum ranged from 39.38 in Karnataka to 47.88 in Delhi among the states listed above.

Kya IBPS Clerk mein sectional cut off hota hai?

Haan. Prelims ke har section mein cut-off clear karna padta hai, aur Mains mein har test ka minimum score aur total minimum dono zaroori hain.

Why did the cut-off rise from Clerks-XIII to CSA-XV?

IBPS does not explain cut-off movement. The two cycles differ in vacancies per state and in candidate performance, and either can move the line. Check your own state's row rather than an all-India average.
